GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey won one its five Baker matches Friday, but still sits 15th overall after the first day of the 2026 Stallings Invitational, hosted by North Carolina A&T.

The Crusaders faced five Division I teams, winning the first game by just four pins. The third game featured a close, eight-piin loss to Morgan State.

Saturday's action features five traditional games before bracket play takes place Sunday.
