BANNER ELK, N.C. -- Trinity Cassidy scored five goals and Kaitlyn Miller tallied six points on three goals and three assists, leading Belmont Abbey to an 18-6 victory in Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon at Tate Field.
The contest marked the Crusaders' second game in less than 24 hours.Â
With the win, the Crusaders improve to 3-2 overall, 2-0 in league play while the Bobcats fall to 1-3, 0-1.

- Cassidy's five goals were two shy of her season high.
- Addyson Greenspan had four points on two goals and two assists, continuing her hot streak. She tallied six points with four goals yesterday.
- Alena Clough and Sophie Basile struck for two goals each, while four other players found the net.
- Yianna Giannoulis won six draw controls, while Faith Piser grabbed three ground balls and caused two turnovers.
- Summer Eddinger made five saves single for the win.Â
