BELMONT, N.C./GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team continued its busy run of play with a pair of matches Wednesday across two different sites.
The Crusaders hosted Hampden-Sydney at the Reidy Tennis Center while another group traveled to Guilford to face the Quakers.
Belmont Abbey came away with two wins: a 4-3 win over Hampden-Sydney and a 6-1 win over Guilford. At home, Belmont Abbey rallied to win four of the six singles matches after the Tigers earned the doubles point.
On the road, the Crusaders took the doubles point and five of six singles matches with
Brayden Effler and
Peyton Williams winning both singles and doubles.
Belmont Abbey is now 7-5 on the season following Wednesday's results.
