Crusaders Conclude Opening Pennsylvania Trip against No. 4 Shippensburg

INDIANA, Pa. — The Belmont Abbey field hockey team concluded its opening weekend of games with a contest against No. 4 Shippensburg Saturday afternoon at IUP's George Miller Stadium.

The Crusaders ended up dropping a 7-0 contest to the Raiders.

Belmont Abbey is now 0-2 after the contest while Saturday was the season opener for Shippensburg.

  • The Crusaders host No. 10 Newberry Tuesday in the first home game of the season.
  • The contest is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start at Alumni Field.
