BELMONT, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey Rugby celebrated its senior class of 2025-26 with a 39-17 victory over Rio Grande at Alumni Field.

Will Rimes scored two tries and the Crusaders turned a 15-10 lead at halftime into 34-10 margin by scoring 19 straight points.

Belmont Abbey returns to Atlantic Rugby Conference action in two weeks with an Oct. 10 match at cross-town rival Queens.
