GREENVILLE, S.C. — Belmont Abbey senior midfielder Sabrina Cunha was named the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday by the league office.

Cunha scored two goals in a 3-1 victory over Northwest Division foe King Tuesday and led the team in shots with seven over two games. Four of those seven shots were on target. It was her second career brace after doing so in a road victory at Emmanuel last season.

It is the second straight week that a Crusader has earned Player of the Week honors after Anna Richárd earned the honor last week.

The Crusaders travel to Banner Elk to face Lees-McRae at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
