Box Score MOUNT OLIVE, N C. -- Belmont Abbey dropped the first two sets Friday night but rallied for a reverse sweep to defeat Mount Olive 3-2 (15-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-8) in its 2025 Conference Carolinas opener.
With the win, the Crusaders improve to 5-3Â overall and 1-0 in league play while the Trojans fall to 2-6, 1-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Renata Bolado posted a double-double for the fourth time in eight matches with 10 kills and 12Â digs.
- Chloe Lowder and Lola Sultenfuss each registered 11 kills, hitting 381 nd .308, respectively.
- Jordan Medina also reached double figures in kills with 10. It was her career-high.
- Sheridan Young tallied a career-best 13 digs to lead the team while four other players were credited with at least seven digs. The Crusaders reached 70 as a team.Â
- Emma Youngblood added 43Â assists, the third time this year she has been over 40. She added five digs and four block assists.
- Maya Swenson served four aces and chipped in 11 digs.
- As a team, The Abbey tallied 7.0 blocks.
