GREENVILLE, S.C. — Belmont Abbey senior Anna Richárd was named the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday.

The midfielder scored a goal in both of Belmont Abbey's games this past week. The first tally was an equalizer against Lander while she had the first goal of the match against Southern Wesleyan in Saturday's Conference Carolinas opener. The Crusaders went on to win the match by a score of 5-1.

Richárd led the Crusaders with 10 goals last season. It is her first career player of the week honor from the league office.

The Crusaders will look to build off Saturday's win with a road match at King at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bristol, Tennessee.
