GREENVILLE, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team was tabbed to finish ninth in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll released Monday by the conference office. The poll was voted on by the league's head coaches and they can't vote for their own school.
The Crusaders finished the 2024 season 8-8-3 and earned a victory in the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
Defending conference tournament champion Francis Marion was selected to win the title this season followed by runner-up Chowan and Young Harris in third. Converse and Emmanuel rounded out the top five.
The 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship is scheduled to start with preliminary rounds on November 5 and 8 before the semifinals and final will be competed at Truist Soccer Complex at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina on November 13 and 15.
