BELMONT, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team earned its second sweep of the season thanks to a 7-0 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan Thursday afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Crusaders secured the win with a clean with three wins in doubles and straight-set victories in all six singles matches.
Charlie Fremaux,
Jackson Korta,
Nicholas Cary and
Marcus Bergelin were the four Crusaders who earned wins in both doubles and singles play.
With the win, Belmont Abbey is now 8-13 on the season while West Virginia Wesleyan is 2-4.

- The Crusaders have a busy day Friday with three matches at two different sites.
- Belmont Abbey will host Davis & Elkins and Union Commonwealth at the Reidy Tennis Center. Those matches are scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. starts, respectively.
- The Abbey will also face Francis Marion at 3 p.m. in Florence, S.C. The match will be considered a nonconfernece contest.
