GREENWOOD, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team opened a busy week of matches as the Crusaders traveled to face Lander Tuesday at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
The Crusaders dropped the match in a 6-1 decision over the Bearcats.
Belmont Abbey was swept in doubles play while
Frankee Hendricks earned a three-set win over Mille Elsborg, 5-7, 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) in No. 1 singles.
With Tuesday's result, Belmont Abbey is now 6-12 overall while Lander is 8-4.
