COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team competed in two matches on a busy Saturday against No. 8 Columbus State and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
The Crusaders were defeated in both matches, falling 4-0 to the Cougars in a rematch of the NCAA Southeast Regional while dropping a 4-3 match to the Mustangs.
In the match against ABAC, the Crusaders swept the doubles point while
Isaac Buerkle and
Noelle Andrey Ampong earned wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively.
With Saturday's results, Belmont Abbey is now 7-13 on the season.
