ELON, N.C. and FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team opened its 2025 season with three matches at two sites Saturday at Elon and Mary Washington.
The Crusaders dropped both matches at Elon by scores of 7-0 and fell 5-2 to Mary Washington in the single match.
Against UMW,
Paola Socarras and
Kylie Elliott won in doubles competition while Elliott and
Davis McSwain won in No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
The Crusaders are 0-3 after Saturday's opening day.

- Belmont Abbey returns to action Monday with two matches at two sites.
- The Crusaders will host Wingate at 1 p.m. at the Reidy Tennis Center and will travel to Johnson C. Smith for a 3 p.m. match.
