BELMONT, N.C. and AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team went 3-1 in doubleheaders against Montreat and Augusta on Tuesday.
The Crusaders swept a doubleheader at home against the Cavaliers by scores of 6-1 and 4-3 while they earned a split with the Jaguars, winning 4-2 in the first match before dropping a 4-0 in the second match.
Charlie Fremaux earned wins in both doubles and singles in the first Augusta match. The Crusaders swept doubles in both matches while winning eight singles matches against Montreat.
Belmont Abbey is now 7-11 on the season.

- The Crusaders will play two matches in Columbus, Georgia on Saturday.
- Belmont Abbey will play Columbus State in a rematch of the NCAA Southeast Regional starting at 10 a.m.
- That match will be followed by a contest against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College at 1 p.m.
