CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey led 15-7 early in the second half, but two late tries by Queens lifted the Royals to a 19-15 victory over the Crusaders in the National Collegiate Rugby Division I national semifinals.
The Crusaders end the 15s season at 8-4 with all four losses to the other semi-finalists. They were 0-3 against the two championship game participants -- Atlantic Rugby Conference rivals Queens and St. Bonaventure.
