GREENWOOD, Ind. — Sam Jordan and Darren Lawlor were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Division II Men's Soccer team Tuesday afternoon by the organization. Jordan was named to the team for the second straight year while Lawlor earns a spot on the team for the first time as a Crusader.

Jordan, a senior forward from Stamford, England, is a senior on the team who currently holds a 3.65 grade-point average as a Philosophy, Politics and Economics major at the Abbey. He was once again the leading scorer for Belmont Abbey as he finished with seven goals and six assists on the season. He appeared in 15 matches with 12 starts for the Crusaders in 2025.

Lawlor, a senior midfielder from Kilkenny, Ireland, is a business management major at the Abbey currently holding a 3.91 GPA. He started all 17 matches this season for the Crusaders, recording a goal and five assists. He was also fourth on the team in minutes played with 1,228.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The full Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
