JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. -- Laney Sasso averaged 213.2 pins over five traditional game to finish second overall in the individual competition at the DII Thanksgiving Invitational Saturday afternoon. As a team, the Crusaders' 4,679 pins dropped them one spot to fourth place entering tomorrow's final round.
Each five-game series was also scored as a team match with The Abbey posting a 3-2 record on the day. It defeated Barton 916-474, Lewis 957-867 and Emmanuel 969-899. The Crusaders dropped matches against Oklahoma Christian 1,013-917 and Newman 1075-920.
