With the result, the Crusaders fall to 10-15 overall and 8-7 in league play while the Bulldogs improve to 11-14, 8-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Crusaders finished the contest shooting 39.3 percent (24 of 61) from the field, including 24.2 percent (eight of 33) from three-point range.
- Kyle Frazier tallied 12 points while Mason Taylor added 11. Darius Kane, who missed the previous 10 games with a wrist injury, chipped in 10 points and a team-best five assists.
- Jaylon Simpson grabbed a team-high six rebounds, although Barton held a 35-31 advantage in the category.
- Holloway led the defensive effort with four steals.
UP NEXT
- The Abbey closes out its regular-season home schedule Wednesday night against King.
- The Crusaders, who already own one win over the Tornado this season, will be looking to clinch at least a share of the Northwest Division title.
