BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Belmont Abbey wrestling team returned to the mat on Sunday as the Crusaders had 21 wrestlers compete at the King Open on Sunday.
Skyler Caban had one of the best days for the Abbey, finishing as the runner-up in the 149 pound weight class winning three completed bouts and four total.
Kyler Pickard and
Mason Kump (184) each won four bouts as did
Zach Bergman (133).
Several other Crusaders were able to make their collegiate debuts as well on Sunday.

- The Crusaders return home for a Conference Carolinas dual match against Montevallo at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Wheeler Center.
- It will be the final dual match of the semester for the Crusaders before taking an extended break over the holidays.
