WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- For the second time this season,
Isabelle Flores broke the school record in the 60m Hurdles, covering the distance in 8.89 seconds, highlighting Belmont Abbey's participation on the opening day of the Camel City Invitational, hosted at the JDL Fast Track.
Back in December in the season opening meet, the junior from Orange Park set a then-school record (and conference best time) of 8.91.
Olivia White and Alexanda Thomas also posted conference championship-qualifying standards in the race.
Action continues tomorrow with the majority of the distance events as well as the shot put.
