DUNCAN, S.C. – The opening day of the 2023 Conference Carolinas softball tournament has been postponed due to inclement weather, the league office announced Thursday.

Belmont Abbey was scheduled to play No. 9 seed UNC Pembroke in the play-in game at 11 a.m. Thursday with the winner advancing to face top-seeded King.

No games will be played on Thursday and the Crusaders will now face UNC Pembroke at 11 a.m. Friday at Tyger River Park as the tournament schedule has been pushed back a day.
