HICKORY, N.C. -- Isabelle Flores posted an NCAA qualifying standard and set a school record in the 100m Hurdles, highlighting Belmont Abbey's participation at the LR Bears Invitational, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne. The sophomore from Orange Park, Fla. posted a time of 14.14 to take third in the event.

Haley Kells also set a school record and improved her Conference Carolinas qualifying mark in the high jump with a mark of 1.60m (5'-3").

The meet was the final action of the regular season. The 2023 Conference Carolinas Championship takes place next weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
