GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Top-seeded Belmont Abbey swept through its competition Saturday, winning all four matches to take the Southern Rugby Conference's Sevens Championship. The Crusaders defeated North Carolina in the semifinals and North Carolina State in the championship match to earn the crown.
