WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Freshman Rexton Thorson matched a nine-year old school record Saturday, clearing 1.90 meters (6'-2.75") in the high jump, highlighting Belmont Abbey's participation in the UNC Seahawk Invitational this weekend.

Thorson's effort matched Joe Thierfelder's mark, set on April 25, 2015.
