BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team got Conference Carolinas play off to a good start thanks to a 7-0 victory over King Tuesday afternoon.
The Crusaders won the doubles points with
Kaitlin Nguyen and
Elizabeth Vollmin teaming up to win 6-4 over Deniz Aytun and Mishka Koricinova followed by both of them winning in their singles matches in the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively.
The Abbey won all six singles points (two by default) with
Kayla Vaughan and
Frankee Hendricks also earning wins.
Belmont Abbey is now 10-5 overall, 1-0 in Conference Carolinas. King is 4-4 overall, 0-2 in the league.
