The Crusaders trailed 3-0 entering the bottom of the seventh inning before coming to tie the game in the ninth with a Joe Whitaker home run and win it with a pair of runs in extra innings.

With the win, Belmont Abbey improves to 17-8 overall, 5-8 in the conference. Mount Olive is 16-6 and 6-4 in the league.
