MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Luke Thierfelder threw 56.92 meters (186'-9") Friday afternoon to place second in the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. His throw was behind only a 59.71-meter effort by Dalton Anderson of Slippery Rock. Thierfelder, who set a school record in the opening meet March 4, was the only Crusader to compete in the event as the school started Spring Break today. The entire team will compete next weekend at the 49er Classic hosted by UNC Charlotte.
