WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Kelly Hay inched closer to the Belmont Abbey indoor pole vault record Thursday as the Crusaders wrapped up the 2022-23 indoor season at the Champions College Team Classic, hosted by JDL Fast Track. The sophomore took first in the event with a mark of 4.25 meters, just .five centimeters off the school record.

On Saturday, Hay cleared 4.10 meters, which was then a personal best and tops in the league this year.
