Matthew Maxwell posted team-highs in both assists with 22 and digs with seven and
Matthew Staskunas registered eight kills, but Limestone earned a 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-16) victory over Belmont Abbey in men's college volleyball Tuesday night.
With the non-conference result, the Crusaders fall to 6-11 overall, while the Saints improve to 8-6.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ethan Rehmann tallied five kills and five blocks (one solo, four assists).
- Staskunas added six digs.
- Sophomore Nolan Schmidt made his first career start, registering four kills and two blocks.
- Limestone connected at a .305 pace, while The Abbey hit .038 clip.
- The contest wrapped up a six-game homestand for the Crusaders. They played 10 matches in the last 21 days of February, including eight in the Wheeler Center.
UP NEXT
- Belmont Abbey is off until March 10, when it starts a three-game road swing.
- The first two matches are at SIAC members Morehouse and Fort Valley State.
