PEMBROKE, N.C. -- Maxwell Kiel won all three of his matches at 157 to win the NCAA Division II Super Region 2 championship and earn a bid to the National Championship Saturday afternoon. John Carayiannis also earned a bid, battling back to third place after dropping his opening bout.

Kyler Pickard finished fourth at 174, while fourth wrestlers placed fifth. As a team, The Abbey was fifth out of the 10 participating teams.

The NCAA Division II Wrestling Championship takes place March 10-11 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
