BALTIMORE, Md. -- Belmont Abbey advanced to the championship match of the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational on Sunday, but settled for a runner-up finish after falling to Felician. The result was the best finish at a regular-season tournament in program history.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After accumulating 4,402 pins in five traditional games on Saturday, the teams competed in three Baker games on Sunday.
- The three match scores were 847, 804 and 984 for a two-day score of  7,037, just six pins ahead of third-placed Kutztown.
- In the championship match -- with was best of seven Baker games -- the Crusaders fell 4-2.
