BRISTOL, Tenn. – Several Belmont Abbey wrestlers saw their first collegiate action competing in the King Open on Saturday. In total, 18 wrestlers competed at the event and gave several others that aren't in the starting 10 a chance to get valuable experience on the mat.
 
Luke Kunath ended up winning three bouts to win in the 141 pound weight class while both Alex Ropski and Will Cline made it all the way to the third place match in the 133 weight class. Additionally, Christian Arrington finished in third place at the 174 pound weight class in his first action.
