RALEIGH, N.C. -- Kyle Frazier and Jacori Owens both topped double figures, but a late surge lifted Saint Augustine's to a 59-55 victory over Belmont Abbey in men's college basketball Saturday afternoon.

The Crusaders fall to 1-3 on the season, while the Falcons improve to 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Frazier led The Abbey with 11 points, hitting three three-pointers and a pair of free throws.
• Owens added 10 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
• Mason Taylor contributed nine points and six boards.
• After hitting half their shots in the opening half, the Crusaders made just six of 21 tries after intermission.
• SAU forced The Abbey into a season high 23 turnovers, converting them into 16 points.

UP NEXT

• After playing its first four games away from home, the Crusaders debut at the Wheeler Center on Tuesday night.
