Harding Makes Four Saves at Anderson

Box Score ANDERSON, S.C. -- Lauryn Harding made four saves, while Belmont Abbey was turned away on all nine of its shots on goal, leading Anderson to a 3-0 non-conference victory in women's soccer action Saturday evening.

With the setback, the Crusaders fall to 0-2-1 on the season. The Trojans improve to 3-1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Belmont Abbey took 14 shots, with nine on target, while Anderson had 15 attempts overall and seven on goal.
  • Anna Richard led the Crusaders' attack with three shots, while Goose Andrews, Paige D'Agostin and Logan Parry had two each.
  • The Trojans opened the scoring just 8:23 into the contest, then added a second with only 2:41 remaining until halftime.
  • The final Anderson goal came at the 55:53 mark.
  • Anderson held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.
