BELMONT, N.C. -- Shay Brady and Oli Fussell each had two tries and Belmont Abbey opened a 19-0 lead midway through the first half as the Crusaders opened their 2022 rugby season a 48-17 Southern Rugby Conference win over The Citadel at Alumni Field.

The Crusaders improve to 1-0, 1-0, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-1, 0-1.
