DURHAM, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team went on the road for the first time this season to face Shaw University Wednesday at Durham County Stadium.

The Crusaders and Bears were even throughout most of the first half but Shaw scored late in the first half and once more in the second half to come away with a 2-0 victory.

Belmont Abbey is now 1-2-0 on the season while Shaw is now 1-1.
