MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --
Matteo Miselli tallied 26 kills, but it was not enough as No. 6 seed Belmont Abbey dropped a 3-2 (20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 23-25, 15-10) decision to No. 3 seed Mount Olive in the quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Championship.
With the loss, the Crusaders close their season at 15-16.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Miselli hit .395 with nine errors in 43 attempts. He also had one of two aces and eight digs.
- Andrew Kohut also reached double figures with 11 kills and a .360 percentage.He also tallied a team-high 11 digs for his second double-double of the season.
- Jack Walsh dished out 47 assists and had seven digs.
- Daniel Cerqua tallied eight digs.
