BELMONT, N.C – The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team kept up its strong play with a pair of victories Friday.
The team earned a 7-0 victory over North Greenville at the Reidy Tennis Center to move to 4-0 in Conference Carolinas play.
Xaveam Van Wijk,
Nicholas Cary,
Zachary Blythe and
Nelson Stafford all earned wins in both doubles and singles play to help lead the way for The Abbey.
In Charlotte, the Crusaders also earned a 6-1 victory over Johnson C. Smith in a match that had been previously rescheduled from March 10 due to inclement weather.
Alex Turner,
Julian Gonzalez and
Marco Garofalo won a pair of matches each for Belmont Abbey.
Belmont Abbey is now 12-15 overall on the season.
