Gulapa Sets Hurdles Record in Men's Track and Field Opener

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Freshman Joshua Gulapa set a school record in the 60-meter hurdles Saturday, highlighting Belmont Abbey's participation at the Visit Winston-Salem College Kickoff. The event was the season opener for the 2022-23 Indoor Track and Field campaign.

The Crusaders had triple threats in both the hurdles and high jumper with every participant finishing in the top 10. Gulupa ran an 8.46 qualifying time enroute to third in the event.
