BELMONT, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey scored 17 points in the first 10 minutes and 32 an explosive first half, leading the 20th-ranked Crusaders to a 46-0 victory over Lander Friday night at Alumni Field. The shutout was the second in as many games for The Abbey.
Six different players recorded tries with
Shay Brady making two penalty kicks and three of four extra points.
With the win, the Crusaders improve to 3-0 overall and in the Southern Rugby Conference. Lander falls to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in league play.
