Box Score GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team kicked off its 2021 season at Limestone this evening.  The Saints won the contest 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the seventh minute, Kaylani Miranda took the first shot of the year for the Crusaders
• Limestone took the lead in the 15^th minute.  The Saints also scored in the 24^th and 38^th minutes to lead 3-0 at halftime
• The Belmont Abbey defense played very well in the second half, limiting Limestone to six shots in the period'
• The Saints scored a goal in the 76^th minute, and took the 4-0 victory
• Miranda and Logan Parry took BAC's shots on goal
• Lauryn Harding made eight saves in goal
