HARRISONBURG, Va. — For the first time in program history, Belmont Abbey faced off against the No. 1 team in the nation in Shippensburg. The Crusaders hung tough and trailed 1-0 at halftime but fell 5-0 to the Raiders Wednesday afternoon. It was the first defeat for Belmont Abbey, who is now 3-1 on the season while the Raiders moved to 3-0.

• Shippensburg scored its first goal less than four minutes into the game.
• Casey Etter had the only shot of the game for the Crusaders in the season quarter.
• Jazmin Petrantonio scored all five goals for the Raiders.
• Chloe Parker finished with a career-high eight saves, matching her total from the season opener against Converse September 7.
