GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Cameron Young tallied 11 kills with a .267 hitting percentage but Belmont Abbey dropped a 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-16) decision to Lander Tuesday night at Horne Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Caitlyn Faber just missed a double-double with 12 assists and nine digs.
• Alyssa Adkins led the defensive effort with 10 digs. Mia Samaha added seven digs and two of The Abbey's four aces.
• Lander (7-3) hit .337 in the contest, the second-hight total by an opponent this season. The Crusaders (0-9) hit just .096.
