BELMONT, N.C. - The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team outshot Lees-McRae this evening, but LMC took a 1-0 overtime victory.  The Abbey concludes its season with a 3-2-4 record.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Around the 12th minute, Belmont Abbey got multiple shots and corner kick opportunities
• The defense also played well, giving up just one shot in the last 13 minutes of the half.  The score remained 0-0 at halftime
• The Crusader offense came out firing in the second half, with three shots and two corner kicks in the first 10 minutes
• The defense again was also solid, giving up just 1 shot over the last 22 minutes.  The teams were scoreless at the end of regulation
• The Bobcats scored in the 95th minute to secure the 1-0 win
• Cassidy Calhoun took a game-high three shots during the match
