BRISTOL, Tenn. -- All four all-conference selections enjoyed stellar performances, lifting No. 2-seeded Belmont Abbey to a 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20) victory over No. 3 seeded North Greenville in the semifinals of the 2021 Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Tournament.
With the win, The Abbey advances to the championship game against top-seeded Mount Olive tomorrow afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Matteo Miselli tallied a team-high 20 kills with a .341 hitting percentage.
- Andrew Kohut added 11 kills, four digs and two assists.
- Brian Long hit .421 with 10 kills and two errors in 19 chances. He made two blocks assists and two aces.
- Brennan Davis posted a double-double -- his sixth of the season --Â with 42 assists and 13 team-best 13 digs.
- Daniel Cerqua added eight digs.
