SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Lauren Delisi took four shots on goal, but the Belmont Abbey Field Hockey team was unable to score in its final regular season contest, losing at Converse 1-0.  The Crusaders finish the season with a 2-3 record.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Mia Maminski came out shooting early in the first quarter, and the team also took three penalty corners in the game first four minutes
• The defense did not give up a shot for the first seven minutes of the contest, and the game was tied at zero when the opening quarter ended
• Converse scored the lone goal of the game with 5:46 remaining in the second quarter
• Belmont Abbey continued shooting a lot throughout the second half, but Converse won the contest 1-0
• On the day, Mia Maminski led the Crusaders with five shots
• Delisi took four shots, all on goal.  Kirsten Rafferty made six saves in goal
