BELMONT, N.C. --
Andrew Kohut and
Matteo Miselli each had 18 kills and
Brian Long added 12, lifting Belmont Abbey to a 3-1 ( 24-26, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20) victory over King in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action Friday night.
Miselli also tied the school record with six aces.
With the win, the Crusaders improve to 7-4 overall and 4-2 in league play while King falls to 7-8, 4-5.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Belmont Abbey hit .336 as a team while limiting King to a .198 hitting percentage.
- Kohut, hit .364 (18-6-33), while Miselli connected at a .324 clip (18-7-34). Long reached a .500 percentage with 12 kills against two errors in 20 swings.
- Brandon Davis registered 51 assists, a new season high.
- Daniel Cerqua led the defensive effort with 13 kills, while Kohut added seven. Davis and Miselli garnered six each.

- Belmont Abbey continues league play with a trip to Lees-McRae tomorrow.
- The matchup was originally scheduled for Feb. 26, but was postponed.
