Madison, Defense Help Abbey Past Emmanuel

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - Aaron Madison scored a penalty kick goal, and it was all The Abbey needed to get past Emmanuel.  The 1-0 victory puts the Crusaders at 1-3 this season, with a 1-0 Conference Carolinas record.  Emmanuel is now 0-2 overall, and 0-1 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Madison got the lone goal of the game, in the 51st minute, and it proved to be enough
  • The Crusaders took the first six shots of the contest
  • On the defensive side, Belmont Abbey only gave up four shots in the game
