Women's Soccer Concludes Season in Semifinals

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team saw its season come to an end Friday afternoon in the Conference Carolinas tournament semifinals. The No. 5 seed Crusaders faced off against No. 1 seed Mount Olive with the Trojans coming away with the 2-0 victory. Belmont Abbey concludes the season with a 9-9-1 overall record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Logan Parry took the first shot of the game for the Crusaders four minutes into the game.
  • She finished with three shots to lead the team.
  • Both goals for Mount Olive came in the first half at the 12th and 19th minutes, respectively.
  • The Crusaders finished with nine shots overall and five shots on goal for the game.
  • Lauryn Harding had five saves for Belmont Abbey.
  • At the conclusion of Sunday's championship game, Harding was named to the All-Tournament Team
