Box Score BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team opened up the 2019 slate against Newberry Saturday afternoon. Abbey keeper Ben Knust recorded seven saves as Newberry recorded the 1-0 win. Newberry (2-0) scored with less than 10 minutes reaming in regulation to hold off the Crusaders (0-1).

- Wolves Daniel Reyes scored on a cross from Troy Paul in the 81st minute to break the deadlock.
